Stanza has grown a lot: circles, organizations, podcasts, live performances, lists, the Writing Space. Each one earned its place, but together they made a lot to navigate. Menus got long, and some of the best parts of Stanza were hard to find. So we brought it all together in one place: the Library.
One home for everything
The Library gathers every tool, space and inbox into five clear sections, so you can find anything in a couple of taps.
Create is where new work begins:
- Compose: write a poem.
- Spoken Word: record audio.
- Writing Space: your drafts and journal.
- Live: go live.
- Podcasts: start your own show.
Explore is for finding work to read and listen to: Discover, Search, Open Calls, Live and Podcasts.
Community is where people gather: Community, Circles, Organizations and Lists.
You holds what's yours:
- Notifications
- Org Requests: requests to publish or sponsor that are waiting for you.
- Confectionaries
- Submission Tracker
- Critiques
- Profile: a shortcut to your own profile.
Account holds Settings and Support.
Find it fast
At the top of the Library, a search box lets you find a destination by name. Start typing "circ" and only Circles is left; type "set" and Settings appears. Sections with nothing matching step aside, so the answer is all that's left on screen.
Live badges
Two tiles show a count, so you know when something is waiting:
- Notifications shows how many unread notifications you have.
- Org Requests shows how many of your requests are still pending.
Counts cap at 99+ and are read out by screen readers as part of the tile's name.
A leaner main bar
With the Library holding everything else, the main navigation can stay focused on what you reach for most. On a phone, open the Library from the More menu. On the web on a larger screen, you'll find it in the sidebar. And if you use the classic navigation, the Library has its own place in the bottom bar.
Getting started
- Open More and choose Library, or select Library in the sidebar.
- Try the search box: type the first few letters of what you're looking for.
- Look around. You may find a corner of Stanza you didn't know was there.
The Library is live now on the web and in the Stanza app.
